This Privacy Policy describes how Digital ITS collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the Sentinel platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection regulations.
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, company information) when creating an account or submitting forms. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps) and device information (browser type, IP address) automatically.
We use your information to provide and improve Sentinel services, communicate with you about your account and platform updates, process billing and subscriptions, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
We process your data based on contractual necessity (to provide the service), legitimate interest (to improve the platform and ensure security), consent (for marketing communications), and legal obligation (tax, regulatory compliance).
Sentinel monitors publicly available content as part of its media intelligence services. This includes news articles (headlines, excerpts up to 500 characters, metadata, and source links), public Telegram channel messages (message text, sender display names, timestamps, forwarding metadata), and public X/Twitter posts (post text, author handles, timestamps, engagement metrics). We only access publicly available content - we do not access private messages, private groups, or non-public content. No personal data of individual social media users is collected beyond publicly visible display names and handles.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, email, SMS providers), and when required by law or legal process. All service providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Data is stored on secure, self-hosted infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days. After account termination, data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax law.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request data portability or object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are used to understand platform usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, regular security audits, and incident response procedures. We promptly notify affected users in the event of a data breach.
Sentinel is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your data is primarily stored in our self-hosted infrastructure. If data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at [email protected] or at our office: Santa Maria Plaza Center, 3rd Floor, Hadath, Lebanon.
